Reducing emission values and increasing efficiency, these are among other things the requirements for a modern heating system. The broadband probe ensures perfect mixture formation and guarantees optimal conditions.
Furthermore, the broadband lambda sensor reduces harmful emissions and keeps consumption as low as possible.
Protective tube
The metalic protective tube protects the probe element from solid objects and dust in the exhaust gas.
Planar element with heater
The planar element of an NTK broadband lambda sensor consists of several layers. In addition to a pump cell and a measuring cell, it also contains an integrated heater.
Element holder
The element holder ensures a firm and vibration-proof hold of the ceramic element.
Hex
The hex is used to install the broadband probe using the correct tightening torque.
Seal
To prevent moisture from penetrating the sensor, the cables are routed to the outside through a rubber seal. This seal is pressed over the sensor housing.
Connection cable
The broadband probe is connected to the control unit via the connection cable. The control unit regulates the pump cell and measures the necessary pump current and evaluates this for lambda control.
