Insulation displacement plug

RAST-connectors are commonly used in the household appliance market. While crimp contacts are always terminated individually, fully automatic machines pull in up to 8 wires simultaneously when manufacturing harnesses with connectors using insulation displacement technology (SKT).
These systems not only speed up the manufacturing process for wire harnesses, but also enable their integrated testing at the same time, thus reducing costs, both in the manufacturing process and quality inspection costs.
