It’s so easy to make children’s eyes light up: By taking part in the “Christmas in a shoebox” campaign, we also made children in poverty-stricken countries happy at Christmas time.
The idea is simple: anyone who wants to make children living in poverty outside Austria happy at Christmas can pack a shoebox full of presents and hand it in to the aid organization Samaritan’s Purse. We at H&S Kabeltechnik were also happy to take part in the campaign for the 2nd time this year.
This year, the shoe boxes will mainly be distributed in countries in Eastern Europe. Since 1993, over 200 million children in over 150 countries worldwide have already been reached.

Anyone can take part in “Christmas in a Shoebox” and bring appreciation and joy to a child in need – true to the motto “Love can be wrapped”. You can find all information about the process and drop-off points here.
